SmartBrake – faster than ever!

Over the last couple of years, we have had the pleasure of delivering SmartBrake to our customers across many countries. Based on valuable user feedback and internal testing, we have made key improvements to the technology and product series. We are proud to present the upgraded version of SmartBrake, available in all new orders. You will experience the difference in a faster and more responsive brake and a simplified user interface.

Response time
We made a steep change! We have been able to improve the response time (from 0-100% brake force) quite significantly: From 0,6 sec to 0,2 sec! In simpler words – you will experience a quick response similar to your traditional cable brakes, without longer lead time. You can see it in the video below from our testing.

The many advantages provided by SmartBrake are still maintained; the opportunity to customize the brake, soft grip for any hand grip strength and size, companion control from distance, and more.

Simplified user interface

We have made it even easier to get started with SmartBrake, and easier to operate the brake in the preferred setup. Combined with improvements in LED light signals, the user will experience an even more stable and user-friendly solution. To get familiar with the new SmartBrake, it is important that you read the accompanied user manual, even if you know SmartBrake well from before.
